Terms of Use and Content Rules
These terms apply to www.xn--kmsorular-p3a82fc21d.com and the NoteShare mobile app. By creating an account you accept them.
1. What the service is
NoteShare is a platform where university students share their own course notes as PDFs. Files you upload are shown only to registered users in the same university and the same department.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate university and department information when registering.
- You are responsible for the security of your account and password. Do not share your account.
- Because we do not collect email addresses, we cannot recover your account if you forget your password. Keep it somewhere safe.
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings or at /delete-account.
3. Prohibited content
Uploading the following is strictly forbidden:
- Copyright infringement: publisher textbooks, purchased course material, scanned solution manuals, or any material you do not have the right to share.
- Material that breaches exam integrity: questions from an exam that has not yet taken place, exam papers that were not meant to be shared with you, or material your university explicitly prohibits.
- Personal data: documents containing other people's names, student numbers, transcripts, identity or contact details.
- Inappropriate content: pornographic, violent, hateful, harassing or otherwise unlawful material.
- Malware and spam: malicious files, advertising, irrelevant content, or files that are not course notes.
You are responsible for every file you upload. By uploading a file you declare that you have the right to share it.
4. Reporting content
You can report any file you believe breaks these rules by clicking the flag icon on the file card and selecting a reason.
- If a file is reported by 3 different users, it is automatically hidden until the review is complete.
- Reports are reviewed within 7 days at the latest.
- Following review, the content may be removed, or the report dismissed and the file made visible again.
You can also block a user who bothers you; after blocking, none of that user's files will be shown to you. You can manage blocked users in Settings.
5. Notice for copyright holders
If you believe your work is being shared without permission, write to destek@xn--kmsorular-p3a82fc21d.com with:
- the link to the file, or the course name plus the uploader's username,
- an explanation of your rights in the work,
- your contact details.
We remove content on valid notices within 72 hours. Accounts of repeat infringers are permanently closed.
6. Sanctions
Depending on the severity of a violation we may:
- remove the file,
- temporarily suspend the account,
- permanently close the account and delete all uploaded content.
7. Disclaimer
NoteShare does not pre-screen user-uploaded content. We make no guarantee as to the accuracy, currency or academic adequacy of any content. The service is provided "as is".
Using material from the platform in line with academic integrity rules is your responsibility; you must comply with your university's exam and coursework rules.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page and the "last updated" date is changed.
